Evening Shirt
I’ve always found it hard to find shirts that feel stylish but still understated; simple pieces with subtle details that quietly stand out. So I designed one myself: a modern take on the classic button up.
Inspired by French work jackets, I call it the 'Evening Shirt' — something to reach for when the summer air cools. Instead of a hoodie, it offers just enough warmth with a bit more structure and tailoring.
My favorite detail is the flannel fabric. It's woven in Okayama, Japan, the prefecture credited as the birthplace of Japanese denim. Much like raw denim, there's pride in putting this shirt on again and again. With time, the flannel reveals a raised, napped texture that’s fuzzy, soft, and breathable.
