There's a specific kind of discomfort that comes with change you asked for. You spend months pushing toward something new, and when it finally starts moving, part of you doesn't quite trust it yet. That's where I've been lately.

After a decade in fashion, I made a jump into a field I was curious about but didn't know how to break into. It wasn't a clean pivot. It was more like turning a sail slowly, not sure if the wind would catch. This week, I accepted a full time offer at a software company I'm genuinely excited about. My first pick. The kind of opportunity that makes you feel like the risk was worth it.

I've been trying lately to get better at celebrating small wins instead of waiting for the big ones. It sounds simple but it's actually a practice. When you're building something, whether it's a brand or a career or just a new version of yourself, the progress is rarely dramatic. It's quiet. It compounds. And if you're not paying attention, you miss it entirely.

WABM is still here. That part hasn't changed. The timeline looks different than what I had in my head but the intention is the same. If anything, having stability again gives me room to build with more patience and less panic. I've learned that urgency and creativity don't always make a good pairing.

I think what I'm most grateful for right now is the reminder that things don't have to unfold the way you pictured them to still be worth it. Entropy and change are what I asked for. I got that. The path just looked different than I expected and I'm learning to be okay with that.

It's not perfect. Nothing ever is. But momentum is momentum. I'm going to run with it, smile, and continue pushing forward.
